We can support you to take back control over your life.
The Narcissistic Abuse Trauma Clinic was set up in October 2017 by Manjit Kaur Ruprai. Manjit has been affected by narcissistic abuse and has a firm understanding of what you are going through; she supports all genders. Manjit has been on her own healing journey and has had various therapies to help her to get through with her recovery. She is passionate about helping others with their healing and to break free from their abuser(s). All sessions are with Manjit, a Qualified Counsellor, EMDR Therapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist. Global CTAA Accredited.
It does not matter which part of your journey you are on. Whether you are dealing with your abuser(s), living with them, co-parenting or just want validation of the kind of individual(s) you are dealing with, Manjit is here to help and listen.
There are so many therapists out there, but not all have an understanding of what narcissistic abuse can do to you and the crippling effects it can cause. Often victims that she works with have had more than one abusive relationship, may be dealing with a narcissistic parent, sibling, their own child or will have had some kind of trauma in their childhood.
Most who cry out for help do not feel understood and do not feel validated, which creates further isolation. They often have nowhere to turn to and have their feelings shut down. If your therapist does not understand what you are going through and the debilitating effects of narcissism they are unlikely to be able to support you.
You can access a range of therapies from her, distance is no issue as she works with many from all around the world via Zoom. Manjit understands that accessing therapies in some parts of the world can be challenging as there are little resources or they have just not connected with the one, making you feel alone and battling your emotions alone.
Manjit offers a friendly, caring non-judgmental and confidential service to help you to understand your situation and to heal after abuse. Her priority is to make you feel at ease, listen to you, educate you and discuss the ways in which she can help you to move forward from narcissistic abuse. All conversations are treated in the strictest professional confidence.
She has a client base in various parts of the world including, USA, UK, Australia, South Africa, Philippines, Canada, China, India, Europe and many more. Manjit has worked with many celebrity clients globally for her expert knowledge and expertise.
Does trauma bonding sound familiar?
Most of the victims Manjit works with are in a trauma bond, going through cognitive dissonance and have co-dependency issues.
If you have stayed in a relationship for too long and wonder why, the chances are that you will be trauma bonded. Trauma bonding occurs in very toxic relationships where you are deeply attached to the abuser. There will be a great deal of pain combined with times of calm. These trauma bonds can be hard to break without the right support and help as no one will understand what you are going through.
Often you will keep on going through the same cycle of abuse because you are in this trauma bond and are unable to imagine life without who you thought was your soul mate so you keep on going back. By the time you have gone through the full cycle of narcissistic abuse – idealisation, love bombing, devaluation and discard you will have been left in a very confused state. It can take several attempts to break free from the abuser and break the cycle of abuse. You may find that you give several chances in the hope that the situation improves and they be the person that you want them to be, but your expectations are quashed. You will also likely to go through cognitive dissonance where you deny the truth and lie to yourself about the extent of the situation. Without the right support many victims are trapped for several years.
Trauma bonding is compared to an addiction and like any addiction you have to go through the withdrawal symptoms in order to recover. Your feelings and pain are real and importantly it is not your fault. You are not weak or going crazy, but sadly the person that you love and are addicted to cannot respond to your love in the way that you want them to.
Most victims are let down by the system and are not taken seriously. Some are left with complex PTSD and health problems due to the ongoing abuse they have suffered. Many are unable to see a way out. There is a lot of free reading material out there and self-help so this is your starting point to build your knowledge which will give you the power to set yourself free. However, this is not enough as one on one support by a therapist will speed your journey of recovery. You have the power to change and Manjit wants to be able to help you.
